WAIT WHAT? LOVE YOUR ENEMIES?

Pepito Thelly from Starkville, Mississippi looks at how we can love those who hurt us.

WISE WORDS

Most, if not all, of us, have enemies or people that we don’t get on with, in our lives. Jesus tells us, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” (Matthew 5:44) Wait what? Love your enemies? How am I supposed to love the people that are openly hostile to me? Most of us say its just too difficult and ignore the idea of loving our enemies. The truth is that Jesus, in his infinite wisdom, knew what he was talking about.

TIME SPENT IS GAINED

God loves each one of us, no matter what situation we’re in. Even in our sinfulness when we call out for help, our loving Father hastens to our rescue. He doesn’t judge us based on the wrongdoings of our past; instead He holds us close to Him and embraces us with His infinite love and mercy. Have you experienced this love?

YOU ARE CHOSEN

Imagine, billions of years ago God the Father, seated on His throne in heaven, has a genius idea to create the universe. The Trinity then plans the millions of galaxies, stars, planets and come down to their finale; Earth. This is their favourite planet and they want it to be the best. God the Father wants Earth to be incomparable to any other planet and the finest of His creation to be living here. After planning the light, land, animals and more, God decides He wants to put human beings on Earth and begins to create the entire human race.
