Imagine, billions of years ago God the Father, seated on His throne in heaven, has a genius idea to create the universe. The Trinity then plans the millions of galaxies, stars, planets and come down to their finale; Earth. This is their favourite planet and they want it to be the best. God the Father wants Earth to be incomparable to any other planet and the finest of His creation to be living here. After planning the light, land, animals and more, God decides He wants to put human beings on Earth and begins to create the entire human race.

God loves each one of us, no matter what situation we’re in. Even in our sinfulness when we call out for help, our loving Father hastens to our rescue. He doesn’t judge us based on the wrongdoings of our past; instead He holds us close to Him and embraces us with His infinite love and mercy. Have you experienced this love?

There’s a saying, “When one door closes, another door opens.” When I look back at my life, I feel this quote is quite applicable for me. My life took a 180 degree turn when I met the love of my life, my redeemer and liberator - my beloved Jesus! Finally, I had found the purpose of my life. I felt God smacking me on the head and saying, “Hey, get up! It's time to get on your feet, leave everything, focus on me, and follow me!”

Jacob's Final Blessing

We're going to explore the story of Jacob (the grandson of Abraham). Now Jacob had twelve sons and four wives. After a lot of family problems, slavery, prison and some crazy dreams, the family moved from Canaan to Egypt. Towards the end of the Book of Genesis, at the deathbed of Jacob he is blessing each of his sons one by one.
