FUN TIME

THERE ARE FIVE DIFFERENT WAYS TO TALK TO THE GOD. HERE IS A GOOD WAY TO REMEMBER THEM:

PASTA
Praise (when we express our love for God)
Adoration (acknowledging our dependence on God)
Sorrow for sin (asking forgiveness from God)
Thanksgiving (thanking God for all He has done for us)
Asking (telling God our needs)
So when you are praying remember PASTA!

A SIMPLE FIVE FINGER PRAYER:

Here is a simple way to help you remember who to pray for when you are asking for God’s help. Go through the fingers on your right hand, starting with the thumb:

1.) The thumb is closest finger to you. So start by praying for those who are closest to you, your family and friends.

2.) The next finger is the one used for pointing. Pray for those who show you the way, teach you, instruct you and heal you. Pray for teachers, doctors and priests.

3.) The middle finger is the longest and reminds us of our leaders, the government and those who have authority. Pray for God's guidance and wisdom for them.

4.) The fourth finger is the ring finger. This is usually our weakest finger and reminds us to pray for the weakest members of society, the poor, the hungry, the sick, the elderly and refugees.

5.) Finally the little finger, the smallest of all reminds us to pray for ourselves and our own needs.
